Nutritional requirements of an outdoor cat
The lifestyle of outdoor cats strongly affects their metabolism and nutritional requirements. An outdoor cat's life is not necessarily restful: by going out into the wild, cats repeatedly expend considerable amounts of physical energy and are exposed to certain risks:
